Genesis Lodge No. 305

F. & A.M. of Washington

From the West:

March 2011

The year started out great by having our first meeting as the installation of our new Worshipful Master Jim Hutchins. The installation had a great turnout. The meal prior was delicious.

Our second meeting had a good turnout of visitors. We read for the first time a petition for the degrees from Martin G. McConville. WM Hutchins appointed an investigation committee so that might ballot at the March 16th meeting.

We still have a number of brothers who are unemployed or underemployed.  If anyone has information on job opportunities please let the Worshipful Master or I know.

At our next stated a sign up for shifts for our next Road Side Rest will be available. Please bring your calendars so when you sign up for a shift there will be no conflicts. WM Hutchins is exploring other fund raising ideas. One discussed at the last meeting was to work a food booth at Qwest field. It was also suggested that we maybe to work food both shifts at the Monroe fair.

Your ideas are welcome for both fundraising and social events. You can tell me in Lodge or email me at:  acordjl@aol.com or by home phone 425-355-5778 or cell 425-308-9763.

Look forward to seeing you in Lodge,

Jim Acord
